Note

To avoid email squatting, we limit the number of alias per account to 5. Please note this is a soft limit which can be lifted by reaching out to CloakGuru Support team

CloakGuru let you visualize the number of emails forwarded/blocked/sent by your alias under the Activity section. Counter is refreshed in real-time, however you may have to wait a couple of minutes for your browser to update its cache.

Alias States

Alias can have the following states:

  • Active: This is the default behavior. Emails sent to active alias will be forwarded
  • Stopped: Emails sent to a stopped alias will not be forwarded. You will still have the ability to replay the potential emails you have received while your alias is stopped using the replay blocked feature
  • Expired: Your alias is no longer active and emails are not forwarded. You must renew it if you want to still continue to use it.
  • Expire Soon: Your alias will expire within the next 30 days.

You can manually Pause/Restart your alias by opening the Alias Setting section.
