Block Senders

On this page, you will learn how you can instantly block an email address or an entire domain. You will also see how you can manually replay emails coming from senders you have blocked or while your alias was stopped

Block a new sender

To block a sender, navigate to your alias within Alias Management section and click Block Senders. Click Block a new Sender. Add the email address or domain you want to block.

That's all, click Block This Sender button and you should see the new entry on the dashboard. Adding a new blocker is instant.

Unblock a sender

To unblock a blocked sender, simply click on the delete icon within the Action column. You will be prompted with a verification popup, simply click Unblock this sender to allow emails from this sender.

Replay emails received from blocked senders

You may receive emails coming from blocking senders. CloakGuru will not forward them back to you automatically, but you will have the opportunity to replay them as needed for a maximum of 30 days.

To replay emails, navigate to your alias within Alias Management section and click Replay Blocked Emails. You will see a list of all emails blocked by your alias with the original sender address and the block time.

To replay email(s), simply click on the icon within the Action column.

Note

Replayed email will bypass the blocked sender restriction. For example, you can replay an email received by [email protected] even though you are still blocking his address or the entire gmail.com domain
